DAY TWO

Sunday, April 30, 2006 | Jeff

Bears take a fullback and a guard in the sixth round.

I guess those 28 teams that were better than us offensively last season won't be looking in the rearview mirror.

I have to say I think Hester was the best return man in the draft and Manning has a ton of potential.

But I'm disappointed we didn't take a shot on some real offensive talent on Day 2. At least pick a receiver from nowhere who might make an impact.

And explain this:
Fasano is good enough for Parcells.
Chad Jackson is perfect for Billy Bell.

But neither is good enough for Jerry and Lovie, who love Airese Currie.

Douche bags.

If Bradley and Currie don't perform much better, it is time for Angelo to go. Tyler Reed was a good pick-up, but how did the Steelers get two 4.3 receivers and the Bears none?
