The Bears 2006 schedule is out and it couldn't be any more different than last year's which had the Bears in only one primetime game and had them finishing the season at Green Bay and Minnesota.
THE GOOD
1. Three primetime games. Sunday night game against Seattle at home early and two Monday nighters against Arizona and St. Louis on the road.
2. Minnesota and Tampa are in Chicago IN DECEMBER. Thank you NFL for giving us a little home field advantage fun.
3. They open: at Green Bay, home Detroit, at Minnesota. Should motivate this team to start strong and take the poll position in the NFC North.
4. The best team on the schedule, the Seattle Seahawks, come to us.
5. Getting the Giants in the NFC East and avoiding Dallas and Washington who I think are both going to be better team.
THE BAD
1. Going to New England at the tail end of a three game road trip.
2. Finishing at home against Green Bay in what will inevitably be Brett Favre's last game. First, this game will inevitably be pushed to primetime as a SUCK FAVRE'S FINAL DICK GAME. Second, the Packers will win on Favre heroics. Third, the Bears will want to show up even if they don't need it just to stick it up Favre's ass and someone important will get hurt. Finally, the Bears fans will do the classy thing and give Favre a standing ovation at the end of the game...and I don't want to see that.
THE WEIRD
1. Someone has to tell me the last time a team was at the Giants and at the Jets in consecutive weeks. Will they stay local? Will we be able to go watch them practice somewhere? Where are they staying? Do any of them want to stay at my house like 8 minutes from Giants Stadium? I could put Brian in one room, Vasher in the other and let Grossman sleep with my mother.

Anyway at first look I think 11-5. But being a Bears fan............
