We've been getting a lot of requests so I'm reaching out now, kiddies.
First, the Vikings suck.
Second, everyone Comment with your favorite Bears bar from wherever you are. We're going to compile them and make something and send it out. I haven't worked out the details yet...
Third, Brad Johnson diddles small boys.
#2 Sanchez said . . .1) i dont have a bar. . . im sorry. . . although Josie's sounds like my kinda place
2) The Vikings have been getting alot of love from the media this week. Stupid Golic on ESPN keeps saying this is the week the bears lose. Up until now, i really had no personal problem with Golic. Kinda dumb at times but whatever he was a former player. . . but now i just view him as a douche bag. and that goes for all the other nay-sayers

#3 District Selectman said . . .Still lookin' for a bar in my area so I appreciate that a list is being compiled.
I am looking for a statement game out of these Bears this weekend. Something in the neighborhood of 31-6. Even if this games mimics the last 2 this team will remain a target of the nay-sayers...that is until they beat the Sea-pussies next week. Oh yeah! Even then, there will be doubters. Ya know what? It just doesn't matter, in fact, it just makes all the winnin' that much sweeter.
Go Bears!

#4 big rob said . . .For DC, I have heard that Uptown Tavern (formerly Park Bench Pub) in Cleveland Park has a decent contingent of Bears fans. That place is a fucking shithole, though. I'd be grateful for any other options.
Golic is a moron. Do not listen to that fat tub of buffoonery.

#5 District Selectman said . . .Not sure about DC, I live in Fredericksburg about 45 mins south and there is a place called Fatty J's that has all the games on Sundays. The Bear faithful has grown from about 4 last season to 10-15 a week this season. If you don't mind the drive from DC.

#6 District Selectman said . . .I'm going to be at RFD in Chinatown tomorrow with this Vikings fan. DC Bears fans (and I don't mean the 17th Street variety), come down and help me taunt him.

#10 District Selectman said . . .Things I am worried about-
1. No running game to speak of..Jones had only 54 yards (3.0 average). I think one more game like this and Benson will be starting at home versus Buffalo.2. Des Clark's Foot Sprain- he looked really hurt to me..but I think he's a tough guy..He was our leading receiver going into the game and we're gonna need a tight end since our running game sucks.
Things I liked..(Pretty much everything else)
1. The defense finally stopped the run(gave up only 97 total yards on ground)
2. Tommie Harris- he's going to the pro bowl
3. Robbie Gould- 6/6 so far on the year with a cluth 49 yarder late in the game plus some monster punts by Brad Maynard.
I'm not too worried about Rex- he led us into the red zone a couple of times I just think the play calling by Ron Turner got a little conservative down there trying to force the ball to Jones..Our receivers were open most of the day. Both of the picks were obvious mental errors from lack of experience. It was a good experience for our young QB..this was a big divisional game in a dome on the road and he still threw for 278 yards and got the winning 24 yard TD..

#12 said . . .Da Bears didn't play too good Sunday, but they picked up the win and that's all that matters. As far as bars go, there's a bar called "RD's" in Bourbonnais, IL (home of Bears training camp) where my family lives and when I go visit them I try to catch a game there and it's a great place. There's lots of die hard Bears fans there and it's always a great place to relax and scream at the TV.
