And beat the shit out of the Buffalo Bills. If we did something wrong, I didn't see it.
Here's to the offensive line...
John Tait
Fred Miller
Olin Kreutz
Roberto Garza
Ruben Brown
Terrence Metcalf
John St. Clair
Well done, boys.
#2 max said . . .The only thing that I saw wrong with the game was that horrid roughing the passer that gave up our shutout.
Other than that your post explains it all. Great Bloking.

#3 fred said . . .I am torn. While shutting out the Bills would have been awesome. . . giving up that late TD leaves a bad taste in the defenses mouth. And that spells bad news for the Cardinals.
Great game. With Indy's 14-13 squeaker win over the titans. . . Bears are the best team in football. Period

#5 District Selectman said . . .I live in southern illinois and was watching the game up until around the middle of the third quarter and the commentator says, "well lets switch to something a little more competitive" and they change the coverage to the miami vs pats game. This really pissed me off, I know that they were 30-0 but I really wanted to see them drive the nail in the coffin.
So the first thing I do is call my mom is call my mom who lives near Chicago and of course they're still covering the game up there. Next time the local CBS station does that down here I'm going to call them up and cuss them out. If they are going to put on the Bears, leave them the fuck on!

BearsssWhose fault was that fumble -- Benson or Griese? I couldn't see, because I listened to the game on WBBM's web player, which was almost as good as watching it. I thought Jeff Joniak and Thayer were a really good tandem.

The Bears have posted four wins by 25 or more points during their 5-0 start. The only other team in NFL history with four 25-point wins after five games was the 1941 Bears, who were coming off a 73-0 win over the Redskins in the 1940 NFL championship game and went on to win another title in 1941.October 9, 2006

#9 District Selectman said . . .District Selectman I totally agree with you on Joniak and Thayer. I am in Florida currently so I dont always see the game, but i have NFL Field Pass so i can listen to it.
Back home when the Bears were bad we used to try to mute the TV and put on the radio so we could actually have good commentating compared to whatever crappy FOX announcers we had. It didn't work cause the TV was about 5 second delay so we heard what happened before we saw it. . . but still, Joniak and Thayer are damn goodOctober 9, 2006

Cheersss to da Bearsss and to the WBBM broadcasts - a nod to Max and District Selectman and the rest of us listening to the games every week where they don't televise our beloved Bears.
I'm not making a comparison here, but for those of us that remember the '85 squad...does it seem like these guys are having even more fun than the '85 team?

Here at DaBearsBlog, you are free to kill us or the Bears as you so wish. You are not free, however, to be an asshole. So if you spew racism or ill-meaning foul language (cursing about football is just fine) or anything of that ilk, your comments ain't gonna last long, jerk.
