L-O-V-I-E! Way to go Bears. We can all breathe easy, because everything depended on this. Great article by David Haugh today, who I would like to call out as a phenomenal sports writer. It all makes more sense in retrospect, and cool heads on this site (not mine) were 100% correct in talking us off the ledge - much posturing goes on in these deals. The one thing I held on to is the fact that while the Halas/McCaskey "cheapness" factor is the stuff of legends - the team really hasn't been cheap for the last several years.
