...that Tavaris Jackson is starting at quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings this season? Did I miss something? That guy sucks.
Check out this story from John Clayton and it's pretty obvious than Mr. Jackson won't be the starter come October 1st. The sub-headline: Brooks Bollinger on Alert. Did anyone think to tell the folks up in Minnesota that neither of these boys is a solid option at the most important position in the game?
Once again, the Bears have no excuse not to win this division.

Also, I didn't really know either until I saw him on ESPN or something taking snaps.
I thought they were at least having a roster bettle, not just handing it to him.

#3 Gould is Gold said . . .Vikes? I'd bet that we'll see them both. But outside of all that. There's two things that I'd like to bring up. I was reading a interview with Babich and he was saying that the one thing they'd like to see from the D this year is a much nastier secondary. This is where AA comes into play. I think that his ability to draw snot bubbles is more important than say D. Manning's ability to cover sideline to sideline. I love that we have someone in the Doug Plank mold once again. On the other side of the ball I'm really looking forward to Ced's assencion to the top of the depth chart. He's a bruiser, a nasty runner and cant wait to see him light up Merriman at the goal line on Sept. 9th. All in all, between these two factors what I'm hoping to see is a more powerful, angry Bear squad. Different from the finesse version of a year ago.

I live in the Viking’s media market, and the hype for this clown was pretty over the top last year. But after his first start @ GB and the offense had 50 total yards, and 3 first downs, the hype has stopped. The Queens will win 3 or 4 games this, and half of those will be of the fluke variety.
The over/under on ints for the two Bears-Queens games is 9 if Tjack starts them both.

Or Stewart and Chandler or some other combination (Mirer and Stenstrom). I will talk trash about how i think their third string is Drew Henson though. I hate the Yankees.
