Who else got a little goosebumpy when they read today's headline?
If you're in the Chicago area, you can turn on ye olde boob tube of dreams and watch the fellas toss it around in live technicolor. If you're not, the NFL Network will be airing the game at the ultra convenient hour of midnight this evening (because the world has been clamoring for the feed of Redskins v. Titans LIVE!).
I'll be at Josie Woods tonight at midnight for the contest (most likely) and will have a full report in the morning. Anyone finding themselves in the New York City area tonight is welcome to join me. I stopped in this week and the Bears flag has already been hoisted.

#6 BPT said . . .I am not a big preseason guy but hey its the Bears and I am more of a fan today then I have ever been, my allegiance keeps growing stronger everyday and thats why, for the first time in my life, I will be tuning in to watch a Bears preseason game in its entirety. At 11pm (im in the central time zone) I will tune into NFL network, probably already knowing the outcome of the game, to watch my Bears first game. I know it doesnt mean much but I need to see some of these new guys. Is it possible to be excited for a preseason game? I know it doesnt mean shit in the grand scheme of things and I'm not getting those butterflies or anything that I talked about in the last thread but hey I'm ready.

I imagine Jeff will have a better round up and probably few will actually read this but I think Rex looked good. Griese rebounded after his first pass was terrible. Orton wasnt bad, Gould made the kicks he had to.
On the flip side. Special teams coverage looked terrible. And our back up O-line looks shaky at best. But then its the first game and everyone on the back up line is still getting used to playing together.
It was just fun to watch (in my case listen) to Bears football again.

Here at DaBearsBlog, you are free to kill us or the Bears as you so wish. You are not free, however, to be an asshole. So if you spew racism or ill-meaning foul language (cursing about football is just fine) or anything of that ilk, your comments ain't gonna last long, jerk.
