#14 Megan said . . .Read the last few and are there really Bears' fans saying 9-7 and also rans in the NFC after one game? I had no idea there were Packers and Vikings fans needing to go on Bears blogs and pray out loud that maybe the Bears won't dominate the division so they don't worry so much about how their teams might squeak into the playoffs.
Let's take a look: We will DOMINATE KC in about 45 minutes (Haters, just sit back and enjoy today), Dallas will be a decent game (our defense is much better than their offense [no Glenn] versus their unproven defense [35 against Giants], the Lions will score some points during the season but they better against our D with the D that they have, the Pack actually have an OK young D but that offense will not have enough against us [my favorite games of the year to win except playoff games of course], the Vikings did get a good back in Peterson but what else do they have, I thought the Eagles might scrap pretty deep into the playoffs but their special teams might cost them several games by themselves (they looked pretty blah overall against the Pack), the Raiders have a pretty good young D but I think our ST may score more than there offense, Seattle will also be scrappy fighting for the playoffs but I think we match up pretty good with them if we can check Alexander, not sure what to think of the Broncos maybe OK maybe not so much [they beat Buffalo by 1 and I think we are definitely better than them], we should crush the Giants all around, same for the Redskins, and the Saints who I thought we would be playing in the NFC Championship against us are losing 28-7 to the Tampa Bay Bucs. So Dallas, Philadelphia, Seattle and New Orleans might be decent battles. We should beat Denver and I think we safely win at least 2 of these 4. SOOO Haters I say we go 9-7 with your moms playing RB and your Grandmamas playing QB. With Rexy we should go 13-3 and make it to the Super Bowl. If our O gels at all we have a shot to run the table to the Super Bowl, where I hope we get a shot at payback against the Bolts or the Colts (I hope NE doesn't even make the playoffs [unlikey] and lose two picks, F'ing cheaters)
Sorry so long, this blog is hilarious with some good knowledge and debate (maybe Entourage is funnier but not much else)Bear The Fuck Down

September 16, 2007
#26 Z said . . .Not a bad half.
The D broke down on the second to last drive for the Chiefs. Offense looked okay for the most part.
September 16, 2007
#27 HesterFan23 said . . .Well Rex and Ced looked pretty good for parts of the half. D too ecxept for the TD drive. Thank you #23. (How smart to get 1 foot out of bounds on that return and get us to the 40). Hopefully we can put a complete half together and put the Chiefs away. Panthers, Giants, Rams, Falcons and Saints lost. Now we need a Bears W.
September 16, 2007
#28 Mike said . . .Yeah, I'm looking for the D to give nothing else up on the board, and the offense to come out hot and put up 21 points or so.
Hester looked awesome on that return. Everybody said that he'd have no TDs this season because no one would kick to him.
To bad the Packers won today, do you guys think they'll be good, or have they been a fluke?
September 16, 2007
#29 Mike said . . .Bears look like shit on offense, yet again. If not for Devin Hester, then the Bears would be in trouble. Grossman sucks, Benson plays like a lazy motherfucker on dope, and the offensive line is showing its age big time. Oh, and Green Bay dominated New York today.
The Chiefs are very bad. This game is VERY disconcerting for the Bears.

#31 HesterFan23 said . . .I can't watch this offense anymore....
They have so much potential to be awesome on offense, and Ron Turner is a f$#^&%#$ idot.
Not only is the playing calling horendous, but the decision making. Why put in a 5'10 rookie in on a key third down play when you know they are going to blitz?
Good thing we have a defense, because it's going to be another conservative season.
And damn, why did Wilson hold that guy. Hester didn't even need that guy blocked.
September 16, 2007
#32 said . . .I wouldn't say Grossman has been horible. It is more on the playcalling. You can't expect him to have good numbers when every pass is three yards.
September 16, 2007
#33 HesterFan23 said . . .Rex, you are a joke!!
September 16, 2007
#34 Z said . . .Again -- at least our defense is good.
September 16, 2007
#35 Rancid said . . .Thank god for Tillman and Manning. Saving our asses. Yeah Hester had that without the block. 3 turnovers and mostly weak and predictab;e playcalling. Come on Ron
September 16, 2007
#36 Z said . . .Worried, defenitely worried.
September 16, 2007
#37 millertyme said . . .Wow that was stressful. Whew! We gave them a bunch of chances to make that game dangerously close. We won and our defense is sick and Devin Hester is sick. While not horrible, we have some work to do on offense. Too many sacks given up.
September 16, 2007
#38 millertyme said . . .Our offense is terrible!!!
I don't know if it is turner calling terrible plays as always or him calling plays to protect rex but ven so he threw two picks today. I thought we were going to use hester more. I hope olsen comes back next week and things open up
at least it was a win and devin is unreal
till next week
go bears

Hester nearly had 3 TDs. By far he was our MVP.Where are the Benson haters today? Compare him to pEnis now!!
Happy day, so I dont want to bitch, but the offense needs work.

#43 jdawg said . . .I'm not worried. With the right offensive calls, we can have a good offense. The question is, when will those good calls come?
Anybody see the end of the Raiders game? That was fricken cheap.
September 16, 2007
#44 HesterFan23 said . . .Well Shit... Rex almost threw enough ints to blow up Marriotti's head, but, I fear, not quite enough.
Actually, I'm surprised he's able to through three yards after the beating he's taken the last two games. I don't miss TJ's rushing ability, but I'll be damned if I don't miss his pass blocking ability. Grossman must feel like he's staring down the barrell of a gun half the time.
September 16, 2007
#45 GP said . . .jdawg, I agree, the pass blocking hasn't been the best.
But, why do we have Garret Wolfe in there on third and four in a key situation. They can't expect him to hold up a whole blitz especially when he has no experience.
September 16, 2007
#46 Rancid said . . .If Devin Hester isn't the best return man in NFL history, at the very least he's the best I've ever seen. He essentially scored 10 points by himself, and it could have easily been 17.
Our D is pretty good. The run D didn't drop off at all, and our pass D was pretty solid.
Rex was awful. It's not Ron Turner's fault when the QB manages to throw a pick on a screen pass. The second pick was pretty bad as well.
September 17, 2007
1 . Hester - Fantastic. How awesome is it that this guy is a Chicago Bear!
2. Ced - Better, defenite improvement
3. Rex - I dunno, I fear that Good Rex and Bad Rex may have merged to create Mediocre Rex. We'll see. Still our best option though.
4. Ron Turner - I hate this guy. I can't say it any plainer than that.
