I'll go on record and pick this Super Bowl I have no interest in. Fine. Here's my prediction.
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS 40
NEW YORK GIANTS 10
Here's why:

#4 Bears99 said . . .I agree with Jeff. New England is going to ignite on all cylinders on Sunday and the poor hapless Giants are going to look like roadkill by halftime. Bill Belichek is going to make this a "statement game." Randy Moss has been neutralized in the playoffs because Jacksonville and San Diego focused on him, which allowed Brady and the short passing game to feast. But I expect the Giants and their dubious secondary to concentrate their front seven on stopping the short passing game and stopping Lawrence Maroney in the running game. That will open up Moss (and Dante Stallworth). And that will be all she wrote for New York.
Right this down in ink. The human feces better known as Randy Moss will have 150 yards receiving and win the Super Bowl MVP.

#5 RandomName said . . .There is no doubt in my mind that new england is going to win by more then 20 points. The giants secondary plays like they are all blind, and randy moss, wes welker etc are going to be all over the field. Pats 36-10

I don't know what they'll win by but it will be as close to a sure thing to make them your bet.

#7 Patriot Killer said . . .Pats seem due to play a good game. I expect them to win by at least two touchdowns and wouldn't be surprised at all if they ended up winning in a rout. I expect the Pats defense to do the right thing and double team Plaxico Burress which will force Manning to throw elsewhere. Moss will find a way to make at least one big play for the Pats and the rest of the bunch will be as good as they usually are. Brady will be Brady.
I hope that it's a close game though...at least that would make things interesting.

#9 Jay said . . .I could care less about this game. But since I will be having major football withdrawl until camp...I guess I'll watch it.
Patriots 42
Giants 6I just don't see Eli/G-man offense making anything happen. Plus Plexico opened his big yap and guaranteed a win... dumbass..

#10 Suck the Dong, Gay Dogs said . . .I agree, Jeff. I also don't really give a crap about this game. Its really been a Super letdown this year, after all the fun and excitement of last year (except for the outcome).
The Pats and Giants are not in the same universe. Eli will revert to his true form (worse than Rex) on the world's biggest stage. It'll be over by halftime, with the Giants getting some garbage points in the second half by throwing underneath.
Pats 33
Giants 20I really don't like either of these teams. New allegations came out today about the Pats filming the Ram's pre-game walkthrough before the Super Bowl a few years ago. If this is true, they should strip the frickin Lombardi Trophy from their asses. I don't care for Eli and the Giants much either. I haven't forgotten how he forced a trade on draft day by refusing to play for the Chargers even if they picked him. What a fricking loser. If he'd done that to the Bears I'd have been furious.

#13 Bill said . . .After all of the bashing you have to give Eli some credit. The guy came through when they needed him.

#14 CAK said . . .Maybe I'm crazy...Garett Wolfe...he is dangerous with the ball in his hands. Play him and Hester at receiver AT THE SAME TIME! I know he's small, but throw a quick out and let him run! I'f he's not open - it may free up Hester....Imagine Hester, Berrian and Wolfe lined up 3 wide. The possibilities... am I crazy?

Giants won. I wanted the Pats to lose. But WOW.
